Whew! How hard is it to be disciplined during this time of year? It's hard enough as I go throught he year to keep my calories in check, but I just can't help it this time of year. I think I ate enough carbs for the whole year this week. But I'm working on thouroughly burning them up.

MOGO
hey...just a little MOGO...it was cold this day we did the Presque Isle Triathlon, but nothing like today. Oh man, am I cold, and it's not even winter yet. Please tell me that summer isn't that far away. I hate the cold....
luckily, i've just ordered a bunch of stuff to keep me warm outside while i run. it's a great perk workin' where i work. i love it. and i'm ready to keep on goin'.
On the flip, it's Cavs season, and I couldn't be happier about the fact that i do, indeed, have season tickets. Let's go Cavs!

Workout?
We had a lot of snow yesterday. And of course the little ones wanted to sled ride down the hill that is their driveway. So, of course, the uncle and I obliged. We ran them up and down the hill and unknowing (sort of) did hill repeats! Wow were my hamstrings sore. But what a great way to workout. So refreshing. I love to run in the snow!!!!!!

Back on Track
I'll admit...I got a little off track the last couple weeks after Grandpa passed away. I've been sorta blah....
But, I didn't stop working. Just completed an interval speed workout tonite followed by a kick ass core and lower body workout. YIKES are my abs screamin'!!!!! My hammies are a little tight too. I'm feeling better cardio-wise though, and I began riding the bike on the trainer 2 days a week. I gotta start swimming! I'm takin' it slow...I'm already farther ahead now than I was last year at this time considering I wasn't doin' much at all. I'm feeling pretty motivated.
Time to stretch and go watch the Cavs.
It's all good.
